Private In-Patient Rooms
After surgery, recuperation may require you to stay in the hospital for one or more days. Private in-patient rooms aid in your best possible recovery.
Individualized Nursing Care
Your recovery is supported by a dedicated nursing team providing compassionate and attentive care.
Convenient Patient Discharge
Drive-up, covered porticos ease your discharge from Surgical Institute of Reading surgical campuses.
While planning your care with your surgeon, you are encouraged to ask as many questions as necessary to fully understand your surgical procedure and any post-operative care that may be needed. Your surgeon will provide you with Surgical Institute of Reading’s Patient Information booklet, offering information specific to your individual care:
- Pre-Admission Testing
- Day Before Surgery Information
- Day of Surgery Information
- What You Can Expect Before, During and After Surgery
- Patient Bill of Rights
Additionally, you are encouraged to share the name and contact information of your surgeon with your family so they may assist you with at-home recovery care as needed.
For Patients’ Families
In planning for surgery, your family member has been given the Surgical Institute of Reading Patient Information booklet by their surgeon. We encourage patients to share this booklet with any family member who may be assisiting with at-home recovery care needs. Additionally, you are encouraged to ask any questions while your family member is under the care of Surgical Institute of Reading. There is ample on-site parking at both the Century Boulevard and Broadcasting Road Surgical Campuses, respectively.
