At the Surgical Institute of Reading, your recovery begins the moment your surgery is complete. Our expert Physical Therapy & Rehab team starts working with you right on our inpatient unit, ensuring you have the guidance, support, and confidence to take your very first steps toward healing.
And when it’s time to transition to outpatient care, you’ll continue your recovery at one of three modern facilities, where our personalized, results-driven programs are designed to get you back to living—and moving—the way you want.
Our team of licensed physical therapists offers personalized, one-on-one care using manual therapy, functional exercise, and the modern rehab technologies. We maintain close communication with referring physicians to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
From surgery to full recovery, we’re with you every step of the way.

The first step is that we will verify your insurance coverage and schedule your first visit.
We customize interventions for each patient to help them achieve their goals. Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and support staff have the experience to help guide you to maximize your recovery. Beginning with your first appointment, our teams work with patients to set goals and create a treatment plan to address deficits and strengths.
